    Nice approach. I guess this might have an impact (in the short run).

    I just have to tell you that in my opinion the problem is not that politicians get blackmailed, but that the system is causing the problems. Politicians act in the will of their voters and not in the will of humankind. It is quite complicated and I don´t want to explain all here, but in my opinion a sustainable solution for the worlds problems lies in a global democracy that follows the principle of subsidiarity.

    ps: In the end if we do not change the system it will force us to buy the cheapest products available. We will not have the choice.

    pps: I will come to the next carrot mob in Berlin :-)

    Exactly. It frees people of the guilt without changing the way in which business is conducted. Me personally, I would rather direct my efforts at a situation where the local community is allowed into the factory to run it in a way which isn't harmful to them or their environment, something which will never happen as long as the man in the factory sits there all by himself counting money and running shop. Besides, as soon as the demonstrating crowd leaves the tubes go back in the river - hidden underground if necessary in order to keep ecofriendly consumers from changing to another brand - and the smoke starts rising.

    Great animation. Would you list credit for the name(s) of the animator(s) and/or studio that produced it please?
  • carrotmob plus 6 months ago
    Sure... the story/concept was written by me, and the animator was a guy named Allan Dye. He did amazing work. We frequently get inquiries about him, but he has stopped doing freelance work and has now started his own gaming company, so he's not available any more.

    Me = Carrot Mob? :)
    Thanks for the info. As an animation student, It's nice to be able to list/site/credit authors, animators, directors and sources!
  • carrotmob plus 6 months ago
    Ah yes, "me" = Brent, the founder of Carrotmob. Our old website had a full credit and a link to his website etc, but now we're in the middle of changing our website so the credits are gone... Good luck with your studies, sounds fun!

    Thanks Brent! This animation was passed to me on Google+, so it's definitely still making the rounds! :)
