Every year, in the month of February, the sun's angle is such that it lights up 'Horsetail Falls' in 'Yosemite National Park' as if it were on fire. The setting sun casts its rays on either side of the falls, lighting it up with a rich golden color. As the sun sets, the falling beam of light on the falls gets narrower and narrower, until it is focused just on the falls. It truly is a spectacular experience and one that I have been fortunate to witness a couple of times.
This video clip has been created by speeding up the original 25 minute footage of the falls.
