Fantastic work, saw the show live in SC. Where you in the pit for the performance, or off in the background?

    Thanks!
No I prepared the show in LA with NIN and Moment Factory and then they went on tour.
    Everything is dynamic and standalone.
But moment factory did hire a tech guy to tour with them in case of problems.

Cool. Was sitting right behind the light/sound pit. The guy manning the board went nuts on espresso and red bull, head-banging hard enough he should have been putting knob-shaped dents in his forehead. First time I've ever seen a crew-member get half-naked during a show...

    Hey Departement,
    great Show!!!
Is the part, 1 min, completely interactive? Do you know, how these guys that realized. With Sensors, and what a kind of Sensors? And maybe with the Arduino Technic? Many Thanks!

    Hey ShapeByShape,

    thank you for your comment!
It's not an Arduino, it's a scanner, it gives you a shape and then the deformation applied to it when you cross or enter the zone being scanned.
The visual is generated in a custom 3d game engine with particles system and physic simulation.

    Best.

I have a few questions. What is the exact software used for camera effects? I've been looking for Quartz patches that achieve the static distortion from closer and the greater good but haven't found anything. Were any laser scanners used for face distortion? I am hoping only a video camera was used due to budget restraints. I'm hoping you could lead me to a decent alternative like Quartz composer, processing, and VDMX. Also is there any chance that the source code will be released?
