This work is a play on the notion of oral tradition.
Oral tradition is a way information is passed down the generation though word of mouth – traditions, songs, folklore.
Each language has a unique set of stories/traditions passed down from generation to generation.
i.e. each dialects have a set of stories/traditions passed down from generation to generation.
If you listen closely, you can hear my family conversing in different dialects.
Passing on information about their lives to each other in different dialects
I am part of that conversation as well
Unfortunately, I can’t converse in dialect.
My family’s oral tradition ends with me.
