yep, that's a bride in a steadicam. it will be a new stillmotion offering- film your own wedding with full cinema training.

some BtS from the first ever evolution experience // StillMotion workshop. we had a ton of great people, a ton of passion, and even more fun.

the majority of this footage in this piece was shot by those attending the evolution experience. there are a handful of 5D/steadicam shots that were shot by SM and then converted to 24P in post to mix with the rest of the footage.

get ready for round two next monday.

P.

  • Stillmotion...Were you using the Pilot or the Flyer with the EX-1? I'm in the market for a Steadicam now and havent gotten a strait answer from anyone about which is better for the EX-1. Help me out here:)

Chris, we use both the Pilot & the Flyer with the A1's & Ex1. Both are great rigs, I would keep in mind that the Ex1 will pretty much max out the Pilot in terms of weight allowance, the Flyer Le will give you room to upgrade to a heavier camera (or perhaps a 35 adapter setup) in the future.

Hope this finally answers your question :)

    Hey StillMotion,
I don't know so much about the type of cameras and like to know what I need to film just like this... What kind of steadicam is good to film with? And what kind of video camera? It says 5D Canon, but I can only find this as a photo camera ... I'm confused by all the 'inside information'. It would be great if you could leave a message for me! good luck from holland...
