This is a documentary about marcosandmarjan’s project for the 75th Lisbon Book Fair in 2005. The film visually describes the tectonic and formal complexity of the auditorium and cafeteria, as well as the use and atmosphere of its inside and outside spaces, while being complemented with conceptual explanations by one of the architects. It also illustrates the construction process, revealing its rather special (very low-tech) construction method, and the public areas being inhabited at different times of the day. The film also captures the animal-like features of the building and the way it relates to the site with its extraordinary views over Lisbon and the river Tejo.
