Proclaiming a paradigm change for the creative economy, John Thackara talks about a world with better lives and less stuff. That seems like the exact contradiction of what most of the creatives industries are working on today: more goods to purchase. Eberhard Schrempf, managing director of Creative Industries Styria, is optimistic for this change to come about, not only because the time is ready for this new agenda but also because there is already a growing awareness on sustainability issues among the creatives here.
