If you haven't seen Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, you should probably do so before watching this.

In fact you should probably do so before watching anything else. Order it and keep your eyes shut until it arrives.

    That's what I thought. I suppose it's more objet d'art than literature.

That was awesome Adam! You are so good at these cutups, I always enjoy the ones you do for the 'same video/different use' channel. I really like how you use the sound from the source footage to make rhythm and music. Really cool, great work!

Thanks Matt. I look forward to your Same Video works also. I love how each one explores a new direction. I think it may be time to get back to making more of my own footage, but I do love cutting so.

absolutely brilliant, Adam, amazing concept and editing! what a stunning tribute to The Shining!
Kubrick was, and still is, one of the the greatest, if not simply The Greatest, directors of all times...

That advert was awesome. It was a lovely tribute to go to such lengths.

The in-depth analysis is really interesting although in parts seems to be a bit of a descent in to madness itself. I'm not sure all the connections it makes were intended. I liked the point about Jack interacting with ghosts in front of mirrors.

A stupid movie, but it has its redeeming qualities. Nice work at a revisit though. Clever reprise.

No way. One of my favorite movies of all time. Kubrick was overdue a horror flick before this one. No one else could have done it justice imo.
