Developed in London in June 2005, this project serves to compliment networked projects with maps and localized media contributions. I placed a yellow chair outside my house with a sign which said: "My WiFi network is open for neighbours and passersby. Free access from this chair!"
This sign invited passersby to sit on the chair and use free wi-fi or just hang out. They could even access my shared folder where I placed new offers daily. Examples include 'Best solution to prevent bicycle thefts' or 'Recipe for chicken tikka masala'.
Both the sign and the chair defined a 'real world blog space' - a territory for conversation between neighbours.
