Finally someone decided to use a steadicam rather then handheld!!!

Some of those shots look ridiculous, good job Valo.

I have a couple of questions about the shots:
    • What did you guys use for the "steadycam" shots? Are you using the Merlin, or something else?
    • Also, did you use a film adapter to get the "film look" for some of the shots? If you did, which one?

Again, it looks great. I haven't rollerbladed for years, but I might still plunk down the money to pick it up.

As far as the "steady cam" (00:54 is this what your referring to?) shots go. its just "steady hands" no steady cams were used =). Some shots are on a microdolly. Shoot at 60p and move fast and you can get a pretty steady shot. The cameras that we (jake & Harald) shot with for the intro were. HVX200 and canon xh-g1 for all the beauty shots. Custom Film vignette's where made in after effects and we created some other tricks that we are going to keep in the bag for now. Hope this answered your questions. Thanks for the support and the questions. i love hearing people wanting to learn about how images are achieved.
    Keep pushin light!

    -Jake
