There seems to be a general sense that the way to know that you're in God's will - is if everything goes well. If that's the criteria - it doesn't fit Jesus. As you read about His ministry - there is very clearly a good news/bad news up and down feel to it. His vision casting was powerful; His impact was huge. But in the daily working out of His ministry - there were some days when the crowds couldn't get enough - and there were some days when the crowds totally abandoned Him! Our vision, in starting The Olive Branch, was lofty! We shot for the moon! We make no apologies for that, at all. A vision that isn't God-sized isn't a vision. But in working out/living out of that vision? Pain. Victories. Defeats. And, of course, God is in the middle of it all. There are changes to our original thinking - and those changes are difficult - sometimes controversial. But we are passionate about pursuing what God is up to. So... we remain - a mission!
