I shot a performance in the summer of 2008 of friend and fellow Chinapainting partner Daryl Shawn in a solo performance of his eloquent instrumentals and intelligent folk/pop songs. Additional note as mentioned above I work with Shawn in Chinapainting an instrumental experimental acoustic guitar/cassette tape looping duo we founded in the fall of 2006. An all improvised music platform Chinapainting went from our initial on-line relationship existing through Ninjam (Ninjam.com) to meeting face to face doing the official Chinapainting LIVE tour in 2007 after working together totally electronically for the previous 8 months.
