Working with Arturo Castro on some ideas surrounding face substitution. The scramble suit is a fictional technology from Philip K. Dick's 1977 novel, "A Scanner Darkly".     ;) the trick was just rewriting the code so the src coordinates are all in the same units, now i can blend all the input faces using a voronoi pattern for guiding the mix. the clone isn't as good because the average color of any region can vary wildly from the larger area due to the lighting difference between the input images.

    kyle - check out poisson blending. lots of existing code for it online - you can get nicer mosaics near the boundaries ;)

    i read some more about the way to do 'proper' cloning yesterday. i'm approximating the effect of poisson blending by using a smaller blur kernel near the edge of the cloned region. i don't feel like dealing with all the triangulation and subdivision involved in doing real poisson blending right now :)

    Man, this is incredible. Any chance you'd do a writeup for a complete newb to at least try it out for themselves? I'm dying to toy with this, but I have very little knowledge of XCode, C++, or OpenFrameworks. The outdated documentation (for XCode 2.4.1) don't make that any easier. Pretty please?
