I like the beautiful scenery! The first sequence is in my opinion a little "overmapped", still the clouds are great! The village is beautiful, I guess that was in summer?

  • Per Erik Sviland 3 years ago
Thanks. The zooming is done in Adobe Premiere Elements

Nice! The processing is so smooth which I know is so hard to achieve. Do you use consistent settings or do you vary them? I'd be so interested to see a photomatix setting file if you'd be willing to share it... J
  • Per Erik Sviland 3 years ago
Thanks. There are slight differences in theese sceenes but I would guess I use more or less the same setting all the time. If you find something that works you tend to cling on to it.

If you give me your e-mail I`ll send you and anyone else the settings file.

Take this from a professional.... I have NEVER seen better! Maybe we should collaborate on a project together one day. It would be a privilege!

what interval did you use and what frames per second did you use? and what music did you use?
  • Per Erik Sviland 2 years ago
intervals range from 3 sek to 10 sek. The film is made with 24 fps

can you bracket with the timer on the D300 or do you have a separate device?
  •
  • Per Erik Sviland 2 years ago
You can do an auto bracket using the interval timer.

This is gorgeous, but you need to edit the ending with with a proper fade on the audio. It's like being suddenly startled out of a great dream when the audio ends so abruptly. But just beautiful right until the end!

I am not a good editor, but I wonder if you could cut the bottom of that screen off, and replace it with a normal time line video for a weird effect.

so are you shooting it all with stills, and then puting them together as single frames in a 24fps film? How do you get the HDR then? Don't you have to have at least 3 shots for each frame in order to create the HDR version?

I like what you've done! I would love to give this a shot.
