Prev week
nice and a lot of well done handwork!
how did u manage to work around the rotation side of the stop-motion?
I built a "rig" of sorts that spins on a turntable/lazy susan i bought from home depot! This was my first test of it!
last thing im interested about [since i dont get to speak with "stop-motioners" every day :] is about tracking your shots. is there any kind of preview available for u, of the shots u made so far, while youre in the middle of the animation? seems so tough to memorize what u did at the last few frames, and all...u know what i mean :]
if im not mistaken, u could actually view your last frame with 50% transparency, while you mess around with your next frame in the meantime :] now, Thats hot! :] but, still..it takes a good animator to depict in his[\her :] head how everything needs to be set up, so all the frames will blend well together in post :] ...that is the real magic, and i dont know if u could use "gadgets" or other tools to help u achieve this. its pure talent, i guess :]
checked out your stuff -- it's awesome. i also heart 2d (as you can probably tell)
You rock, girl!
Best
Excellent !
if your interested in more recent works check out my new site: studiospass.com
BTW, do you call it claymation, or something else? Stop-motion perhaps?
Love the heels
muy vacano!!
LOL
how much time do u spend with that work? )
i adore your last clay animations!
i'm more into drawn animation but am trying stop-motion stuff too. though, my attempts are still rather raw.
what about the software you use? there're a lot in internet for downloading but it's hard to choose. the one i used was iStopMotion for Mac but it didn't fully answer my requests. i would be happy if you share your experiance which one you like. thanks!
I've used istopmotion before and it has its benefits. Although for this animation I used dragon stop motion. I'd check it out -- it supports many more camera types than istopmotion.
