rDmap is a web-based "Research Discovery Map" application which visualizes existing and potential research connections among university researchers. The rDmap connects each faculty member to his/her research topics and their peers within their university. The rDmap is designed to help faculty members to quickly and easily identify potential collaborators and students to find potential supervisors for their thesis work or reading courses. rDmap is being developed by Dr. Anatoliy Gruzd, Director of the socialmedialab.ca/ at Dalhousie University. A public version of the rDMap is available at iresearch.management.dal.ca/fommap/# (The rDmap in the video above features faculty members from NJIT in Newark NJ.)
