Zack Smith from NYC Resistor demonstrates how to fix solder bridges on a circuit board with surface mount components. He used a kitchen cooktop to melt the solder paste. Then he used solder wick and a soldering iron to remove excess solder. To avoid solder bridges you can simply use less solder paste on the contact pads. Solder paste is applied using a syringe.
