This is from a short story by Italo Calvino. We made this in one night, over a six hour stretch, while drinking beers out of the trunk of my car. I'm really happy we we're able to do it. We spent most of the night dealing with the cops, restaurant owners and drunk people on the streets and in the apartments above. None of them liked us too much, but we had a lot of fun making it!!!
Shot on Super-16, Kinor Camera. The actors spoke English, but we dubbed in Italian, fulfilling our commitment towards making a total Fellini rip-off.
