Fallout: Fukushima Daiichi Disaster
A Japanese photographer Daichi Koda had been to Fukushima after the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant disaster to see how the people in that area are coping with the invisible danger.
On March 11, 2011, a massive earthquake and subsequent tsunami devastated the east coast of northern Japan.
The Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant was hit by a tsunami completely destroying its cooling system.
The damage caused a meltdown and the release of radiation.
The fallout reached surrounding areas.
