I know that there are parties happening over the next few days celebrating the Lunar New Years in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore. And I checked Wikipedia - and a lot of other interesting spots around the world have sizable Chinese populations that also keep the holiday. This list includes Brunei, Indonesia, Australia, Canada, Christmas Island (is this where Santa Claus takes his vacay?), France, New Zealand and the Philippines.
