I went to a Hot Pot restaurant with my new friends from Sichuan Province and Costa Rica. My Sichuan buddy ordered everything for the Hot Pot including baby eels. Now, I love to eat eel, but I've never actually cooked it. The eels were sitting on our table for about 20 minutes before we decided to throw them in the pot. Then... THEY STARTED MOVING! I screamed so loud, everyone in the restaurant turned around an looked at me. An hour later, they were still moving. Needless to say, I was unable to cook yet consume the headless boogers. I still feel terrible that they gave their lives for no reason, but after you watch this video, I doubt you'd want to eat them either.
