Martha O'Bryan Center's kitchen produces 4,300 meals each week for East End Prep charter school, the Early Learning Center child care and Pre-K, and the Mobile Meals program for seniors and the homebound. To help meet the need, volunteers make weekly trips to the Nashville Farmer's Market to gather donated fruits and vegetables and bring them back to the Martha O'Bryan Center. The work, called "gleaning," helps Martha O'Bryan Center provide the freshest available produce to children, seniors and families in need.
