The 2011 Jane Goodall Global Leadership Awards were presented on September 24, 2011. This year's winners for the Roots & Shoots Youth Leadership Award were Lauren Gibson from Carmel, IN and Adam Anthony from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This award honors an individual (aged 13-26) who demonstrates leadership and excellence through his or her work to help preserve and protect our natural world.
