"fonts, glyphs and other URBAN CREATURES" (a scavenger hunt in 3 acts)

In year two of our Barrio Scenario charette, TEN TEAMS of Woodbury San Diego architecture students, faculty and invited lecturers constructed/collaged from photos of Barrio Logan signage a complete "street art" scaled font with accompanying glyphs. At the same time, taking INSPIRATION from the same streets, each team created an "URBAN CREATURE". The creatures and letters were "scavenged and drawn" entirely from imagery found within one mile of the Woodbury School of Architecture; then printed, painted and mounted to precut structural paper.
