Southern Nights make music that sounds best after midnight. Their dimly lit grooves are
inspired equally by the smoothest sounds of 80's FM radio, chopped and screwed hip
hop, and the experimental wanderings of bands like Faust. The Nights' most recent
release Peninsula Music features undeniably catchy hooks sitting comfortably between
syrupy bass lines and corroded beats. They release all of their music in mixtape form
allowing for a seamless listening experience that begs to be listened to in full. You can
check out all of their tunes here. We've proudly included them in our launch show, but
be sure to check them out, hopefully again, on October 10th at the Peacock Lounge in
Orlando with stellar acts Surfin Serf and Sloppy Disk.
