Ids Willemsma comes from the northern part of Holland. Skating on ice is one thing but keeping up the tradition of speeding on the old wooden skates is another.
How those were more than a century ago manufactured and how to keep the blades sharp, Ids knows all about it. I met Ids through friend Leendert who also is a fanatic ice skater. We took the day, the SONY PMW-EX1R and Ids warm chocolate milk did the rest.
