This morning I took a private tour of World Trade One, or the "Freedom Tower" in lower Manhattan. Guided by Component Assembly, a construction subcontractor on the building, we rode a series of elevators to the 74th floor. Along the way we stopped at different levels to snap photos and video, and ask questions of the workers. We then descended to the bowels of the building and walked through the construction, under WTC memorial, and between the footprints of the two towers.
