I participated in a mission trip to Kenya Dec 27,2008-Jan 12, 2009. This video is a small representation of that experience. We hosted medical clinics, built a mud hut, fed hundreds of children and adults, worked in schools, led a discussion about abstinence with 12-15 year olds, payed for 12 children to attend school through the first 8 years, led worship and drama in the town square, played with hundreds of kids, and made home visits to share the love of Christ with all who were ready to welcome us. The team will never be the same, and now we are inspired to continue the work in some way.

In the coming days I will be posting additional more substantive videos describing the trip. Today's product is only a taste of whats to come.

The situation for many in Kenya is dire. Outside of urban areas, the infrastructure is non-existent and the folks living in the countryside have limited to no access to clean water, paved roads, medical facilities and many earn a wage of 2 US dollars a day.

My mission team is praying about creating a long term sustainable mechanism to assist those we worked with in country. Please check back to this page to learn more in the coming weeks.
