Electronic media artist and SVA faculty member Perry Bard will speak about participatory culture and her current project Man With A Movie Camera: The Global Remake, which invites people around the world to create a mash-up of the 1929 Russian film. Bard has shown work at the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Reina Sofia National Art Museum, Madrid; the Shang Elements Contemporary Art Museum, Beijing; and the Sao Paolo and Montreal Biennials. Presented by the BFA Fine Arts and BFA Visual & Critical Studies Departments.
