Chinese new year fireworks in Beijing - 5DmkII
11 months ago
Filmed and edited by guardian.co.uk staff photographer Dan Chung.
The world's biggest uncoordinated fireworks display takes place at Beijing's famous Drum and Bell tower, where the new year is rung in.
Shot on a Canon Eos5DmkII and Nikon lenses as well as a straight Sony EX-1 camcorder, edited in Final Cut Pro.
Nikon lenses are 17-35mm f2.8, 85mm f2.8 PC lens and a 400mm f2.8.
Audio is from the 5dmkII's built in mic or a Sanken CS-1 on the EX-1.
