I personally know one of the folks in the video and have just heard that she was fired yesterday 2/4/09 One of the reasons being because she appeared in this video.

I am especially outraged to know that my UAW dues are being used by the International UAW and their staff to aid the Midwest Regional Board in the undemocratic pillaging of these local, democratically, elected officials.

This really needs to be looked into, whichever side is right or wrong the UAW should not be taking sides.

I find it interesting that several of these "members" were actually on the payroll of Local 24 for being Reps, political director or paid for "lost time" in 2005, this information taken from Unite Here Local 24 LM2's. I would love to hear the opinions of members rather than paid Shop Stewards and others on the Union Payroll!! Given these people have been on Local 24 payroll, I'm inclined to believe that they to are concerned about their jobs within the union hall which is why they are speaking out....let's here from the dues paying members!!!
