Shot in Santa CRuz 2007 with my crappy cell phone. I thought Rick Walker did such a wonderful drumming vocalization that I had to throw the video into Ableton Live to loop that and add a little swish n' swoosh plus some muscle drums. I must say Ableton Live 7.1.4 was a dream for video mangling. Something I will definitely do more. Hey - you can even VariSpeed Swoop video in Live!!!! Looks and sounds as if the old 16 mm film projector is going havoc, awesome! (nothing of that in this little tourist video though)

8 support video for editing? I know that in Sony Vegas that you can treat video in exactly the same way that Sony ACID treats music loops. Does Abletone also
support this? Very nice job, Per.
You can't put video clips in reverse mode. But you can loop them and speed/pitch warp them just as audio loops. This was done in Live 7x BTW - Live 8.0 is not released yet, but announced for the second quarter in 2009. It will have a looper with first-loop-setting-tempo capability. This means you can set up slave synced video clips that will kick off and hook to the tempo you start live-looping in! Not bad ;-)
