Amazing. Very good use of "one-shot" concept. I love the idea of not explaining anything. Her going down on her knees was a bit too much IMHO ... but overall great song and performance by Sophie Thompson. Thank you for sharing.

Imagine you were living in the 19st century, that you didn't had any food for three days - you live in a no man's land and your husband went to get supplies in the nearest town three weeks ago and usually it takes him just one - and minutes before this happens you receive a letter saying that he died. There are things that make you bend on your knees... Amazing video!

I totally agree, there are such things. I don't lack the imagination - though to me it's a completely different story. So let me put this another way: I liked the fact very much that this was one shot - and that all that "happened" was a woman standing there. :)

:) Yeah that's what's amazing about this music video. It just gives the suggestion and each one of us just fills the gaps with our own imagination. This is true storytelling!

If you like that concept of story telling, fernando, I'd love to know what you think of my short "NOWHERENOW" ... althoug it's a completely different pair of shoes. :)

Wow! So much emotion, and such a strong performance! The cinematography is excellent. I would put this up there with top 10 music videos of the year!

Last week Adam Buxton played this at BUG28 at the British Film Institute. It's looked beautiful on the big screen.
