RESEARCH ON TRANSITION ZONE: OLD CITY (STARE MIASTO)

The old town is rebuild out of the old stones, left over after the destruction. After that, the walls were painted in pastel colors to create the atmosphere it had before the war. This makes it look like a theatre decor. From the centre, the old market square, you have two sides: one is the touristic side, the other is not. This non-touristic side has less rules: the colors and the materials which are used are different. It inspired me to make a patchwork dress reflecting the rebuilding and the colors of the old town.
