Daub's Death
A possible ending , dream or premonition. Real or not, Daub's death plays out in classic noir fashion as he is hit by a stranger's bullet while trying to escape down a dark corridor. As his soul leaves his body, Daub tries to piece together the mystery that has engulfed him for so long, but alas, it eludes him. All that remains is an ever diminishing amount of blood, the light at the end of the tunnel, the solitary, final thought.....Milan.
