Our Wine Buff Mollie Battenhouse is tasting: Chateau Laubes, Bordeaux Dry White 2010.

On the palate, it’s silky, with tropical fruits, a bit of apricot, and is unoaked, so the flavors of the grape shine through. On the nose, it’s fuller than sauvignon blanc, with a silky mouthfeel, and tropical aromas of citrus, lime, guava and pineapple. Delicious as a cocktail wine, or with shellfish, fish tacos, clams, lobster tails, roast chicken.
