Our Wine Buff Rebecca Chapa is tasting: Chateau Les Ancres, Bordeaux 2009.

Ruby in color. On the nose, it’s intense and bright, iron-rich, with a slightly meaty note. It smells like the underbrush of a blackberry bush: crushed berries. Very intense. On the palate, a nice amount of acidity; Concentrated. Medium to medium-plus body, medium-plus tannins, chalky. Would pair well with a Pork-belly, barbecued ribs, barbecued chicken, or a rib-eye steak.
