It's just dead simple. There is no re-encoding involved so it’s as fast as copying your H.264 Clips from one folder to another.

This is just a quick and dirty way to get things as they should be. In FCP7 we had numerous ways to get that TC i.e. the Canon EOS E-1 plugin. Or external software like Silverstack.
