I would never audition for this show, but I wrote this song for two reasons.

1 It is my response to all the well intentioned people who ask me why I don't audition for the show.

2 for all the great vocalists and musicians I know who are over 29 and could mop up the competition but and are barred from competing on this show.

American Idol discriminates against people of age and says that if you are over 29 you have no artistic worth.

It perpetuates myths about the music business
