Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is an annual free music festival that attracts 700,000+ attendees to Golden Gate Park during the first weekend in October. Every year the number of bicycles parked at the event increases exponentially as more attendees realize that the bicycle is the simplest and fastest way to arrive and leave the festival. We counted ~115 rows of bikes each holding ~30 bikes for ~3,500 bikes. Keep in mind there was also bike valet in another part of the park for those who preferred to park their bikes inside a valet area. strictlybluegrass.com & publicbikes.com
