Don't let anyone try to tell you that Justin Bieber has no artistic value!

All kidding aside, this is beautiful.

Absolutely if you slow him down 800%, maybe he'll be great when he's 800 years old :)

Dev, I went over to your show right after seeing this and was really disappointed that there was no sound score in the gallery itself. It made the video more powerful than the installation.
  • Dev Harlan plus 4 months ago
That's funny I had considered using this piece as a soundtrack for the show but was afraid it would be too heavy handed or monotonous after awhile, maybe I should try it for the last few days.
  • omar zubair 4 months ago
I think it'd be potent even if it was just in the upper section. (that way maybe it wouldn't drive the gallery guys crazy.)
and might be an interesting conversation with the space's past history of a church.

Hi, Brilliant object and I agree the soundtrack gave the alien object a voice. loved it a would have loved to see it live.

Can you explain a bit more about the setup .. The projection, is it a 3 d model ? How many beamers? This is a lovely thing.

I think I hear Elisabeth Frasier from 'This Mortal Coil' & 'The Cocteau Twins", am I right?.
This is my FAVORITE artist of 2011, by far!.
I blogged about him today, said Koenski Beterweter @ "Blogger".
Greetings from that smartass boy from Holland,Kski.

    Hey there Dev!
This is amazing; I found it while looking to see what others were doing with projection mapping :)
I'm especially intrigued by your sculpture!

How did you go about making it?

How many projectors, and what kind did you use too?

Amazing work, I can't wait to see what else you come up with!
