A traditional Indian ceremony capped off a week of events for Toni Nicole and Bharat's wedding, but the festivities kicked off on a Monday with a Catholic ceremony witnessed by the couple's immediate family and best friends, and continued with an elaborate reception attended by almost 200 guests on Friday.
Longtime friend and photographer Cliff Mautner took advantage of the warm weather and clear skies both at the couple's Philadelphia home before the ceremony and afterwards in various city locations. Toni Nicole successfully made her camera shy new husband warm up to the idea of being 'king and queen' for the week's events.
On Friday, the Atrium at the Curtis Center was transformed into a well-lit crystal and rose adorned reception ballroom by Cescaphe Catering's in-house florist Il Fiore Bianco. After a substantial cocktail hour, dinner, traditional dances and emotional toasts, BVT's Jellyroll entertained the large crowd on the dance floor. Immediately after cutting their towering cake, Toni Nicole had an authentic surprise for Bharat-who, according to inside sources, was "anxious" about missing Saturday's Chelsea Football Club's game due to the pending traditional Indian nuptials. Turns out Chelsea lost that match, so Bharat was celebrating in a happier place after all!
