We often get asked by our clients why it takes so long to receive their final dvds (3-6 months). Well, believe it or not, making awesome videos take A LOT of work. Here's a list of all the things that happen for each edited video in your package (this is not all-inclusive):

- media import
- transcoding
- sifting through footage from multiple cameras
- cataloguing
- planning
- cutting
- syncing multiple sources of audio
- review & corrections
- color grading & stylizing (as seen in this video)
- interactive DVD menu creation
- DVD label creation (for DVDs and cases)
- packaging and shipping

And that doesn't even consider that we often have other weddings we are editing simultaneously!

Above is an example of the footage from before and after Aimee and Todd's wedding highlight reel was color corrected and stylized... For this short 5 minute video alone, it took about 3-4 hours of work for just the color corrections. All in all, about 12 hours of work went into the creation of this simple 5 minute video. We're perfectionists, what can we say! :)
