Sunday afternoon we dove the "alki junkyard" a great little treasure (and less dove) site at the end of the public beach near 64th Street.
striped sea perch
Convict fish, (painted greenling)
Grunt Sculpin on Eggs
Adolescent Wolf Eel
a yawning rockfish
School of Pile Perch
Juvenile Wolf Eel (the very orange one)
another Grunt Sculpin
Tubeworms and Shiner Perch in background
and a beautiful little seapen (they bioluminesce at night if you touch them or when the water flows by them) and then a closeup showing the colony of polyps that make up their body.
and last but not least, my awesome buddies Adrian and Jan!
thank you for tuning in!!!
