Prev week
most people run away from danger and/or instigate...while somebody like him is actually risking his own life trying to do the job that cops should be doing!
only thing i recommend this guys is to become a cop and have his unit allow him to continue doing what he does best.
also this guy needs sponsors and a movie!
i salute this guy!
long story short.. you're doing the right thing
and the cops arresting any of you for doing the job they should be doing is absolutely ridiculous... its obvious from the video that you did nothing wrong
"are they getting guns?" lol fuck off idiots.
That BMW hit someone, and they tried to get the license plate, that's Assault & Battery.
The intent to do harm (assault), and the contact (car) (this applies with the girl with the heels striking jones)
(I'm in law school) You guys are awesome, send me a message if you want (in tx lawschool) but we have a great library, so I wouldn't mind helping out.
But you're filming it you jackwad, you know exactly what's going on. You're causing all the problems trying to be the next cool thing. Idiots.

tem essa vontade louca de ser o melhor ou maior...
pronto agora ele é o maior!
maior idiota do mundo! do mundo não, dos EUA!
KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
You're going to be better off trying to scare away thieves who don't want to get caught then people who are already in a public space (and disregarding their concerns for police showing up).... and in the event that they turn on you... I'm not sure you should keep pushing back.
You pepper sprayed civilians... and I'm not sure the law protects you from doing this in this manner. This wasn't self-defensive when you got yourself involved. I suspect that if you didn't pull out the spray.. you'd not be facing these charges.
also... I'd expect a superhero to stay under the radar more... posting a video like this probably undermines your motives... unless it was just to get internet cred. If anything, I hope people who might be thinking of doing something similar see how dangerous it can be to play superhero and clean up the streets yourself.
If someone copies your actions and gets hurt... know that you were an inspiration.
I've broken plenty of fights up and did so by calming people down and separating them. Pepper spraying and shouting.... unless you're backed up by other people and/or police officers. Not really going to work.
It makes sense, and they're sick and tired of the crappy job the lawenforcement does in their town.
They take matters into their own hands, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
It's risky as all hell, and not really clever to do so - Especially not when you've got a can of pepperspray in your fist, ready to spray away.
But then again, people get looked down on if they just walk by without doing anything. These guys try to break up a fight. It's a noble intention, but might just make the fighting party more aggressive - Especially when you walk around in a costume.
I mean, hey, I get the symbolic meaning, but you get too much unwanted attention, and people are especially wary when it comes to random folks in costumes running towards them.
My advide; Go civil. People now know Phoenix Jones' face, he might as well go with the bodyarmor underneath a jacket or whatever. Trying to break up fights, sure, but maybe not waving around with pepperspray.
In the end, I'd say that these vigilante guys did the right thing. They might've stopped a fight that could've gotten someone killed. They were assulted when trying to stop the fight, but saying "They got what was coming" is just pure bullshit. The Shoe Bimbo did something more illegal than the costumedudes themselves.
The pepperspraying WAS warned several times beforehand. They got it all on film.
I see no reason for PJ getting arrested. Yes, he peppersprayed some people - But they attacked him.
He got arrested - They were fighting out in the streets.
Something just doesn't sound right, hm?
Show the video in court, prove that he was doing whatever he was doing in selfdefense.
That'd probably end in a fine and/or making him stop doing the vigilante work.
And, perhaps, get some of the hit'n run-guys and shoethrowing chicks and such in court as well.
Good luck!
Change the pepper spray for a gun. Now, he warns he has a gun. So he can now go on shooting people?
Not saying it's legal, but it's defendable and rational.
Obviously he's not a bad man - Or he might be, but he has good intentions and he doesn't harm "innocent" people. Getting pounded for trying to break up a fight without defending one self, does that sound better?
All our lives we get into our heads that we should help people that are troubled, stop people (you know) from fighting and so on.
Yet when someone finally does it, it's a bad thing.
Again, I don't say that the dude was right when spraying - But I would do the same. What would you do, if you attempted to break the fight the way he did? Would you let them kick your ass? Or would you defend yourself?
It's dangerous to allow injustice to rule our city.
It's stupid to NOT step in when you feel people are in harm's way.
LONG LIVE PHOENIX JONES.
:)
