WOWOW is Japan's #1 satellite pay tv station with 3 main channels: Prime/Cinema/Live. The channel's name is a double "Wow", and the three W's also stand for "World-Wide-Watching"

'Comedy Bazaar' starts at midnight and shows imported comedy from the UK like 'Little Britain, 'In The Thick Of It' and the US 'Episodes'. The brief requested edgy, quirky western visuals and sounds since the viewers of the show would be very niche. We came up with the concept of opening tins of canned laughter (what better way to represent comedy) and each 'tin' opening revealed more of the programme title/character.
