The Town of Tiburon hosted a community picnic in McKegney Green on October 1, 2011 as a Town-wide block party. All neighborhood associations and everyone on the peninsula were invited to join this very casual, very neighborly get-together. There was live music, grilled food with some healthy choices and modest prices (courtesy of the Tiburon Fire District), appealing libations for kids and adults, kite-flying and a few surprises.
