I shot this video during a family trip to Carmel, CA this past October. I was able to get out for a couple hours one afternoon... during a nice clearing NW breeze after an early "winter" storm. I love the thick juicy sea level air... perfect for slow VTPR aerobatics with my Le Fish Light.
This flying site, known as The Ledges, is one of several easily accessible coastal slope spots in the dunes north of Monterey.
The song is a cover/re-mix of the jazz standard "Cantaloupe Island" by Herbie Hancock. The Us3 version was perfect for a video featuring the "flip" which has been re-discovered this past summer.
