Chip Conley - Emotional Equations

Remy Chevalier 1 day agoFrom every chemical reaction there is an equal electrical reaction. Our emotions start with a bioelectromagnetic signal triggering glands to produce hormones, which in turn are translated and experienced as nerve signals. These bioelectromagnetic impulses can be generated in the mind, the nervous system, or from outside stimuli. What we feel is the chemical translation of an electromagnetic pulse, either internal or external. It's a feedback loop mechanism. That's why emotions are contagious, that's what creates atmosphere in a room. We live in a sea of energy interpreted by our metabolism. Autism is a failure to translate these energies into sensations. Ultra-sensitives are the first victims of this dance of photons and electrons. As we age, like a battered sea wall, our endocrine system fails to register subtle radiation. The lack of registered and experienced stimuli leads to the breakdown of entire bodily functions. And yet, we still don't teach emotional radiation other than in confused spiritual or religious terms. No wonder the entire planet is still at war with itself.
