Part of Ione's 16th Annual Dream Festival, La Leona Arts' 100 Artists/ 100 Dreams is an international dream exploration project that explores the concept of artists as visionaries and keepers of the creative fires. Focusing on the recurring, prophetic and creative dreams of visual artists, performers and musicians, the project poses these questions; if artists are the visionaries of our communities, what do their dreams say about our society? And are artists in the United States having similar dreams to artists in other countries? What do these dreams say about our global society?

100 Artists/ 100 Dreams, curated by artist and arts advocate Sadee Brathwaite, was conceptualized as a result of Brathwaite's participation in Ione's Annual Dream Festival for the past six years. Brathwaite says, "I was looking to produce a long term multicultural project that would be a great addition to the wonderful global community events that the Dream Festival features."

The project consists of a film, an exhibit and an installation. The exhibit opens in 2012 and features live performances, video and music from participants, locations to be announced. The installation, a dream-like interactive environment that documents the journey of the project, is an ongoing aspect that will showcase at various locations proposed by the participating artists.
